Mexico project workforce and local infrastructure

You Won the Mexico Project. We'll Help You Build the Local Operation.

Mobilize leadership, local professionals, technical specialists and project support without building every Mexico capability from zero. We coordinate recruiting, employment, payroll, local representation, specialized services, SOW teams and project closeout.

Designed for international contractors, engineering firms, technology providers and project-based businesses.

Your client deadline should not wait for your permanent Mexico infrastructure

A won project creates an immediate operational problem: you have a schedule, a client and a scope in Mexico, and no local employment, payroll or recruiting capability. Forming an entity to solve it usually takes longer than the mobilization window allows.

For defined-term work you generally do not need one. Project personnel can be employed through an Employer of Record, or the scope can be delivered under a specialized-services or SOW structure where we supervise against deliverables. Which one is correct is determined by who directs the work, not by preference.

The second problem is local hiring. Supervisors, engineers, technicians, QA, safety and site administration recruited in the project city are almost always faster and cheaper than mobilizing the same roles from abroad, and they carry the local knowledge that keeps a site moving.

What mobilization actually involves

One decision rarely stands alone in Mexico. These are the connected choices that usually surface within the first 60 days.

Structure selection

EOR, staff augmentation, specialized services or SOW, matched to who supervises the work and what your client contract requires.

Local recruiting

Supervisors, engineers, technicians, QA, safety and administration hired in the project city on the schedule's critical path.

Expatriate coordination

Aligning your mobilized personnel's status and payroll arrangement with the work they perform in Mexico.

Payroll and site administration

Mexican contracts, IMSS registration, payroll cycles, timekeeping and site documentation.

Local representation

A local interface for clients, suppliers and authorities when you have no entity on the ground.

Closeout

End-of-term employment handling, final settlements, equipment recovery and records handover, planned before mobilization starts.

Project delivery models compared

We do not start from a product we need to sell. Here is where each model works and where it does not.

Built for project realities, not office hiring

REPSE scope

Active registration for applicable specialized services, with engagements structured to the work actually performed.

Multi-city recruiting

Hiring in the project city, including secondary industrial locations, not just the main hubs.

Technical and trade profiles

Engineers, technicians, commissioning specialists, QA, safety and site administration.

Country representation

A local commercial and administrative interface where you have no entity.

One US contracting relationship

You contract once, in terms your legal and procurement teams already understand.

Closeout discipline

Demobilization planned at contract signature rather than improvised at the end.

Mexico Project Mobilization Assessment

Seven questions. You get a recommended structure, REPSE review trigger, local hiring path, employment requirements, timeline and closeout approach.

Question 1 of 7
What kind of project did you win?

We cover every state and city in Mexico. If your answer is not listed, type it here and a specialist will build the plan around it.

What buyers usually say at this point

We need speed above everything.

Then structure clarity comes first. Deciding who supervises the crew takes an hour and removes the biggest source of avoidable delay.

It is only one project.

Most contractors who win one Mexico project win another. We can size the footprint for this one without closing the door on the next.

We already have local subcontractors.

We can complement them by carrying employment, payroll and the roles they cannot source.

We are concerned about compliance.

The model is selected according to the work, the control and the applicable requirements, not relabeled to fit a product.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need a Mexican entity for a single project?+

Often not. Project teams can be employed through an Employer of Record or delivered under a specialized-services or SOW structure, which avoids forming an entity for work with a defined end date. If the project becomes a permanent Mexico presence, the entity question returns on better terms.

How do we mobilize our own people into Mexico?+

Expatriate personnel need the correct immigration status for the work performed, and their employment and payroll arrangement has to match. We coordinate the local side and work with your immigration counsel on the rest.

Can you recruit local engineers and technicians?+

Yes. Local recruiting is usually the fastest lever on a project, supervisors, engineers, technicians, QA, safety and administrative support hired in the project city rather than flown in.

Does REPSE apply to our project?+

REPSE registration applies to specialized services provided to a client. Whether it applies depends on the nature of the work and who directs it. It is a registration, not a certification, and it does not cover every engagement type. We review the structure against the scope before contracting.

Should this be staff augmentation or a SOW?+

If your supervisors direct the work daily, augmentation or EOR fits. If you are buying a defined deliverable with acceptance criteria and we supervise, a SOW under a specialized-services structure fits better.

What happens when the project ends?+

Closeout is planned at the start: end-of-term employment handling, final settlements, equipment recovery, records handover and, where useful, retention of a small local footprint for warranty or service work.
