Scope and acceptance definition
Deliverables, milestones, acceptance criteria and exclusions written before pricing.
SOW · Managed services · Mexico
We contract the scope, employ and supervise the team, and are paid against milestones or service levels, so you buy an outcome instead of managing headcount from another country.

Remote supervision is where nearshore engagements quietly fail. If your managers cannot see the work, hourly staffing turns into unmanaged cost.
A statement of work moves that risk. We define deliverables, acceptance criteria and service levels, put our own supervision on the ground, and carry responsibility for the output.
SOW is not always the right structure. If you need day-to-day direction over the people, staffing or EOR is cleaner and usually cheaper. We will say so.
Statement of work (SOW)
A contract for a defined deliverable or service level, where the provider supervises its own personnel and is paid on milestones or output rather than hours worked.
Deliverables, milestones, acceptance criteria and exclusions written before pricing.
Team leads and site supervisors employed by us, accountable for output and safety.
Scope reviewed against Mexico's specialized-services rules so the structure matches the work.
Agreed KPIs, monthly reporting and escalation paths, not an invoice with no visibility.
Planned staffing curve up and clean closeout, including final settlements and documentation.
Convert to staffing, EOR or your own entity when the work becomes permanent.
| Dimension | SOW / managed service | Staffing | EOR |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who directs the work | We do | You do | You do |
| What you pay for | Milestones or service levels | Time worked | Employment cost + fee |
| Best when | Scope is defined and finite | Headcount is flexible | You want the person long term |
| Supervision burden | Lowest for you | Highest for you | Yours |
| Typical use | Commissioning, processing, maintenance | Ramps, coverage | Permanent hires without an entity |

What we commit to on this type of engagement
Under staffing, you direct the workers and pay for their time. Under a statement of work, we own the deliverable, supervise our own people and are paid against defined milestones or service levels. The distinction matters for cost control and for how the engagement is treated under Mexican labor rules.
When the scope is defined and finite, when you do not want to supervise the work directly, or when you need a result rather than headcount, commissioning, migrations, back-office processing, maintenance programs.
It depends on the nature of the work. Specialized services that are not part of your core business activity may fall inside Mexico's specialized-services regime, which requires the provider to hold an applicable REPSE registration. We review scope before contracting and tell you which regime applies. REPSE is a registration, not a certification, and it does not apply to every engagement.
Either fixed price against milestones, unit price per transaction or output, or a managed-service monthly fee tied to service levels. We price after scope definition, not before.
We do. They are our employees, registered with IMSS, supervised by our leads, working to the scope in the contract.
